ADMISSION PROCEDURE


B.PHARM

B.Pharm or B.Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree is a four-year program with both annual and semester schemes available. Under JNTU Kakinada, B.Pharm course is in semester pattern. In order to be eligible for admission into B.Pharm course, one must pass with at least 50% marks in 10 + 2 (Intermediate or an equivalent examination) with biology/biotechnology as one of the subjects.

Intermediate or equivalent qualified students can join B.Pharm through EAMCET counseling or through Management quota.

D.Pharm (Diploma of Pharmacy) holders are eligible for admission into B.Pharm into the second year of study directly through Lateral entry.

D.Pharm students can join B.Pharm course through E-CET counseling or through Management quota.


M.PHARM

M.Pharm or M.Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy is a post graduate course of 2 years duration with semester system. After completion of B.Pharm degree students can join for M.Pharm course. M.Pharm course has various specializations in the field of pharmacy.

B.Pharm students can join M.Pharm course through GPAT or PGECET counseling or through Management quota.

In our VNIPS, two specializations are offered under M.Pharm course

1) B.PHARM - 60 Seats

2) M.PHARM PHARMACEUTICS - 36 Seats

3) M.PHARM PHARMACEUTICAL ANALYSIS & QUALITY ASSURANCE - 24 Seats



NOTE: A student who completes the course and want to register as Pharmacist in India, the course offered college must be approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and PCI (Pharmacy Council of India).
